This summer we travelled to the town of White Fox SK, and did a full week of art classes during the day camp there. We provided an outdoor class room experience. As a bonus to the art class we included, drama, singing with music, and face painting.

While many of our materials were traditional we were able to incorporate things from nature.

Our theme was, “everything that grows begins in a seed form.”

This spring we did a Mural commission for the Twin Marine Restaurant and fishing outfitter in Nipawin Regional Park.

Each project we work on is unique, presenting interesting challenges from which we learn and benefit from. This project was different for us in that it was to be a permanent window painting for the outdoors, instead of a temporary window painting done indoors.

Step 2

Drawing and priming the glass for long lasting results.

The finished result is a beautiful eye catching mural on the Twin Marine deck overlooking the Nipawin river.

The summer of 2017 we are preparing to take what the “Four Door Arts Forum” has to offer and travel from location to location with our portable classroom. We will offer forums through music, song and drama, with visual arts and crafts. We preparing to incorporate the benefit of the arts as a service to businesses, camps, conferences, or any establishments that see how the spirit of creativity moves the heart.

In the summer of 2016, music forums were held in an open air tent with an informal atmosphere. Also painting and drawing forums happened with some youth.

We have 2 friendly, well behaved and obedient dogs, thier enthusiasm and motivation is contagious to all. Both dogs are kind and intuitive by nature, have had lots of experiences with young and senior people. Both of them are in the process of becomeing therapy dogs. The dogs happily come with us on our trips, whether to join in and be apart of the activity example hiking/adventure walks or to quietly sit on the side lines and observe while we teach.
