We took our mobile art trailer out for some more summer creativity. We incorporated plaster, acrylic, clay, paper and water-colour in our classes for children from 6-12 years old. Here are some photos:

As A added benefit to any class and for the enjoyment of the students and the artists we do face painting.

This was a commissioned piece of art we designed to look like stained glass that began as a round blank piece of glass and was to be a sun and moon.

This summer we travelled to the town of White Fox SK, and did a full week of art classes during the day camp there. We provided an outdoor class room experience. As a bonus to the art class we included, drama, singing with music, and face painting.

While many of our materials were traditional we were able to incorporate things from nature.
Our theme was, “everything that grows begins in a seed form.”

Here are some examples of artwork students did incorporating nature.
